Redfish Bay
Redfish Bay has great year round fishing with both shallow water fishing & deep channels. The sport fisherman uses motor boats, shallow water rigs and kayaks. Redfish Bay sits between Corpus Christi Bay & Aransas Bay and has several boat ramps available to the public. We've listed a few recommended Marina's below.
The area has several thousand acres of submerged seagrass in the shallows which makes a great habitat for over sized trout.
Seagrass restrictions
Seagrass has important regulation enforced by the Texas Parks & Wildlife that prohibits props from destroying seagrass in the area. You should read about these restrictions before going out on the water.
Fishing
Terrific place to fish for redfish, trout and flounder year round. Best months are from May through December.
